Panthers training camp 2018: Meet the 90-man roster The Carolina Panthers begin their 2018 journey at Wofford College in beautiful Spartanburg Youth Luke Kuechly Jersey , SC on Thursday with the start of training camp. Before camp begins, let’s take a closer look at the 91 men* who will participate in the next few weeks of grueling practices in preparation for the season. To make this easier to follow, the players will be broken down by position group and listed in alphabeitcal order.Quarterbacks (4)Kyle AllenGarrett GilbertTaylor HeinickeCam NewtonRunning backs (7)C.J. JansenMichael PalardyThere you have it, Panthers fans—the current 91-man roster.I’m almost positive the Panthers will release a few of the extra receivers/linemen to bring in camp bodies at kicker and punter so Gano and Palardy don’t wear their legs out in camp. I’m also confident that this 91-man roster will change several times over the next few weeks as Ron Rivera churns the bottom third of the roster to search for hidden gems. We’ll keep you posted when such churns happen.*- Efe Obada doesn’t count against the team’s 90-man roster as part of the NFL International Pathway Program. He will once again be the 11th member of the practice squad and cannot be activated to the 53-man roster or released this season.Update: According to Bill Voth http://www.panthersfootballauthentic.com/graham-gano-jersey-authentic , the Panthers can place Obada on the 53-man roster this year. If they choose not to, he will have to clear waivers before he can be added to the practice squad. The Panthers can then use the IPPP exception to keep him as the 11th man on the practice squad, but then would not be able to add him to the 53-man roster at any point this season. They could also add him to the practice squad without the IPPP exception, but would lose the 11th practice squad slot and Obada could be poached by another team. (h/t to carolinallday for bringing this to my attention)**- Chris Manhertz will begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.***- Amini Silatolu is listed on the roster as a tackle but is currently penciled in as the starter at left guard.CSR 2018 fantasy football season kickoff First though we must congratulate last year’s winners... including me!Thank you for the accolades and all that...it was a fine win but its a new season and I’m ready to defend my CSR 1 title. So to my other League Managers check your transaction counter from last year and those owners that made zero or maybe just a couple transactions, boot them www.carolinapanthersteamonline.com , and request new players via this comment thread. League Managers please give me a holler in the comment thread if your league is renewed or is folded. If your previous CSR league folded (like CSR 2 just did apparently) then feel free to jump in this new league:Join CSR No. 59 by clicking here.I just set this league up and have not modified the settings yet so please be patient with that. Scoring settings will be a separate post in a few days. I’m still considering some changes to the scoring as well. If we need more leagues then well free to set one up yourself. CSR 1-14 have been used and now No. 59. Feel free to pick a random number or name. We typically draft no sooner than after the 3rd preseason games but its up to the league after that. Stay tuned, more details to come...
