WASHINGTON Evander Kane Jersey , Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant injured his left knee and would be out for six weeks, announced the team on Thursday.


Kobe was suffering from a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau in his left knee.


He got that injury in the Lakers' 96-92 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.


Kobe averaged 13.8 points and 6.3 assists in six games for the Lakers this season.
