A human hair wig although comes at quite an expensive price , it is still much more preferred by most ladies over synthetic wigs primarily because of the best quality, looks more natural and long lasting. Using a human hair wig allows the user to dye their hair which is not possible with synthetic hair wigs. Although some precautions are necessary in this regard and connection, the procedure is fairly simple. There is a vital component of attention to detail involved while keeping in mind the instructions as given by the manufacturers while applying dye to a human hair lace wig. Below discussed are some basic precautions while dying a human hair wig.



1. Wash the wig several days before coloring it to remove any styling product buildup. Do not apply conditioner or styling product to the Hair Bundles before coloring. Allow it to dry completely before coloring.



2. Secure the clean, dry wig to the wig head using T-pins. Comb through the wig to remove tangles. Put on the disposable gloves and mix the hair color in the bowl according to package directions.



3. Use the hair color brush to apply the color to the human hair wig. Make sure all strands of hair are thoroughly covered. Keep the color away from the hair knots at the base of the wig as well as the wig's cap.



4. Wait 10 minutes for the color to set. Remove the wig from the wig head and rinse in lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Apply the after-color conditioner and leave it on for the length of time stated on the package's directions. Rinse thoroughly.



5. Put the human hair wig on a towel and blot to remove excess water, replacing wet towels if necessary. Pin the wig back onto the wig head and comb through gently. Allow the wig to dry thoroughly.



Once the entire wig is covered completely in uniform layers and shade of the hair colour or dye, it is allowed to sit back and dry. The drying process is not required more than 25 minutes at the very most. Allowing the dye to sit for over 25 minutes may spoil the finishing look and appeal of the final product. Once the colour has dried off, wash off the excess and remaining by applying a light mask of hair conditioner to the wig for 3 minutes. Dry the wig and rinsing the conditioner off and then proceed to style as desired.
